HOURS: Shifts will be 12-hour workdays 7 days per week
SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday- Sunday; 7:00 am-7:00 pm

Welder Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Stainless TIG Welder to perform high-quality welding and fabrication work in an active power plant environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience welding stainless steel components, the ability to work safely in industrial settings, and a solid understanding of plant safety procedures, permits, and quality standards.

Responsibilities for Welder:
Perform TIG welding on stainless steel piping, structural components, brackets, and equipment supports
Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, beveling, and fitting stainless steel components prior to welding
Maintain weld quality in accordance with plant specifications, WPS, and applicable codes
Conduct visual inspections of welds and assist with quality control requirements
Work safely around operating plant equipment, following all LOTO, hot work, and confined space procedures
Coordinate with supervisors, maintenance teams, and other trades to complete work efficiently
Perform repairs, modifications, and new installations during outages and maintenance windows

Qualifications for Welder:
OSHA 10 issued within the last 3 years is REQUIRED
Proven experience with TIG welding stainless steel in industrial or power generation settings
Ability to pass stainless steel TIG weld test
Strong knowledge of welding procedures, joint preparation, and heat control
Experience working in industrial facilities, refineries, or power plants preferred
Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE
Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, twisting upper body, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Position requires the use of PPE, including: Steel-Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves
Must have standard electrical hand tools.
Drug and background screening required

Additional Requirements for Welder:
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must have reliable transportation to the job site
