Job Description

US Trades is currently seeking dependable and motivated Conveyor Installer/Pre-Commissioning Technicians to join our growing team. This position is responsible for assisting with the installation, startup, testing, and commissioning of conveyor systems in industrial and commercial environments.

This is a hands-on role for individuals who enjoy travel, working with tools, problem-solving, and being part of a strong team culture.

Responsibilities

Assist with conveyor system installation and assembly
Perform pre-commissioning checks and startup procedures
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues during startup
Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and installation drawings
Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment safely
Work alongside electricians, welders, and project supervisors
Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
Maintain clean and organized job sites
Travel to project sites as needed

Qualifications

Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Prior conveyor, construction, mechanical, or industrial experience preferred
Comfortable working at heights and in physically demanding environments
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work extended hours when needed
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Reliable transportation
Ability to travel is a plus
