Traveling Journeyman Electrician - Long Term Project - Kansas

Job Description
Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, panels, and equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues and implement effective solutions
Perform service calls, upgrades, and new installations
Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local Kansas regulations
Test electrical systems and components for proper operation and safety
Supervise or assist apprentices when needed
Maintain accurate job documentation and reporting
Communicate with customers, supervisors, and team members professionally
Follow all safety policies, PPE requirements, and job‑site procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work environment

- Pay will be $34-38/hour
- Per diem $110/day

Ability to travel is an absolute must - the candidate will be gone for weeks/months at a time. They work long hours during the week and can expect to work at least 50-60 hours. They will work in the elements - rain or shine, heat or cold. Must be receptive to extreme temperatures.
