Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Pipefitter/Welder for an immediate start in Reno, NV!

WEEKLY PAY --- OVERTIME --- PER DIEM

PAY: $30-$38/hour (based upon experience)
PER DIEM: $90/day for days worked
HOURS: Shifts will be 10-hour workdays, 6 days per week (60 hours/week)
SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday-Saturday; 6:00am - 4:30pm
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: 3+ months

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter with welding experience to join our team on commercial and/or industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing piping systems, performing welds, and reading technical drawings. This is a great opportunity for a dependable tradesperson who values safety, quality workmanship, and steady work.

Key Responsibilities:
--Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems for commercial and industrial applications
--Perform welding tasks (TIG, MIG, and/or Stick) on various pipe materials as required
--Cut, thread, groove, and fit pipe to specifications
--Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings (ISOs), and P&IDs
--Perform layout, measurement, and alignment of piping systems
--Assist with system testing, inspections, and troubleshooting
--Maintain welding and pipefitting tools and equipment
--Ensure all work meets quality standards and project specifications
--Follow all site safety requirements and maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications:
--Previous experience as a pipefitter with welding responsibilities
--Ability to perform quality welds and pass weld tests if required
--Experience in commercial or industrial settings preferred
--Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
--OSHA 10-Hour Construction Certification required (or willingness to obtain)
--Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
--Reliable transportation and consistent attendance

Preferred Skills:
--Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel, and other piping materials
--Knowledge of different welding techniques and procedures
--Familiarity with rigging, hoisting, and basic fabrication
--Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment:
--Commercial construction sites and industrial facilities
--Work may be indoors or outdoors in varying conditions
--May require lifting, climbing, and working in tight or elevated spaces

Additional Requirements:
--Must be eligible to work in the United States
--Must have reliable transportation to the job site
--Pre-employment drug screen and background check are required
