NSC Staffing is now hiring multiple Apprentice Carpenters for a LONG TERM commercial conversion project in Charleston, SC.

PAY: $20-$25 (depending on experience)
SCHEDULE: 40+ hrs/ week

JOB DETAILS:
2+ years of commercial construction or carpentry experience preferred
Removing drywall, framing, doors, ceilings, flooring, millwork, and fixtures
Hauling debris and keeping demo areas clean
Using pry bars, sawzalls, rotary hammers, hammer drills, and basic demo tools
Assist in the construction, installation, and repair of wood and metal framing, doors, windows, drywall, and other structural components
Backing and blocking
Support journeymen and foremen with layout, measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
Maintain clean and safe work areas and follow all jobsite safety procedures
Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Learn and follow blueprints, drawings, and specifications under supervision
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and ability to follow direction
Basic hand tools and PPE required (hard hat, safety glasses, work boots, gloves)
MUST pass a background check
MUST pass a drug screen
