Journeyman Electrician (traveler)
$33/hr + $140/day per diem
Monday - Saturday 8a-5:30pm, possible Sunday work

A New Construction Electrician installing electrical systems in commercial, or industrial buildings. This role focuses on layout, wiring, conduit installation, service equipment setup, and ensuring all work meets code requirements before walls are closed and systems are energized.

Key Responsibilities
Rough‑In Wiring
Install branch circuits, feeders, panels, and device boxes according to plans and NEC standards.
Conduit Installation
Bend, install, and secure EMT, PVC, and rigid conduit for power and low‑voltage systems.
Blueprint Interpretation
Read and follow electrical drawings, one‑lines, and construction documents.
Service Installation
Assist with setting panels, transformers, disconnects, and grounding systems.
Site Coordination
Work with general contractors, other trades, and inspectors to keep projects on schedule.
Safety Compliance
Follow OSHA, NEC, and company safety procedures, including LOTO and PPE requirements.
