Job Title: Tube Welder

Project Type: Power Plant / Boiler Environment

Duration: 6 months

Schedule: 7 x 12s - Days and nights

Compensation & Logistics
Mobilization: $500 in / $500 out

Per Diem: $150 / all days

Technical Execution & Responsibilities
Boiler Welding: Perform high-quality structural and pressure-retaining welds on boiler tubes and piping systems.

Weld Testing: Must successfully pass a mandatory hands-on weld test administered at the project site prior to deployment.

Technical Precision: Execute precise weld joints under industrial specifications, ensuring full penetration and defect-free code welding.

Safety, Quality & Documentation
Site Security: Maintain compliance with federal maritime and industrial security standards via active credentialing.

Quality Assurance: Ensure all welds adhere strictly to ASME boiler and pressure vessel codes or project-specific quality standards.

Industrial Safety: Follow rigid power plant safety protocols, including hot work permitting and hazardous energy control awareness.

Requirements
Experience: 5+ years of dedicated experience working as a boiler tube welder within power plants or heavy boiler environments.

Certifications: Must have a current Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).

Tools: Specialized welding rigs, torches, rod ovens, and standard pipe/tube fit-up tools.
