Job Overview
Job Title: Owner's Representative – Engineer
Project Type: Heavy Industrial Construction / Large-Scale Power Generation Facility

🛠️ Technical Execution & Responsibilities
Engineering Oversight: Review all design drawings, contractor submittals, and specifications to verify complete construction compliance with owner and project specifications.
Technical Supervision: Lead technical oversight of multi-unit power block installations, acting as the primary liaison between home office engineering, contractors, and OEMs.
Quality Assurance: Conduct daily field inspections to evaluate equipment installation quality, review "red-line" mark-ups, and verify commissioning work packages.
Issue Resolution: Monitor project scheduling and planning; collaborate with site construction teams to expedite RFI responses and eliminate design conflicts.
Asset Safeguarding: Ensure construction, inspection, and commissioning processes align perfectly with OEM design requirements to protect long-term financial and operational interests.
🛡️ Safety, Quality & Documentation
Site Safety: Maintain safe daily oversight of all engineering and equipment installations following Environmental, Health & Safety Standards.
Physical Requirements: Ability to work indoors/outdoors in noisy, dusty, hot, or cold environments; climb ladders, work at elevations, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Regulatory & Corporate Safety: Adhere to all safety regulations, procedures, and prerequisite medical testing (e.g., pulmonary function testing) required by the corporate Health & Safety Department.
📋 Requirements
Experience: Extensive field experience in a senior technical or representative capacity on heavy industrial construction sites; proven history working with new construction projects utilizing H-Class gas turbine technology.
Education: Advanced engineering education, training, or a demonstrated combination of equivalent field experience.
Technical Skills: Highly skilled at interpreting complex Piping and Instrumentation Drawings (PIDs), architectural designs, mechanical specifications, and Balance of Plant (BOP) systems.
Tools/Platforms: Deep technical proficiency with H-Class platforms including GE 7HA, GE 9HA, Siemens SGT-8000H, Siemens SGT6-9000HL, Mitsubishi M501J, or Mitsubishi M501JAC.
Certifications: Valid jurisdictional driver license; must be legally eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
