Tradesmen International is hiring Advanced Shipfitters for long term work in Newport News, VA at a large shipyard!

This is a long term contract working on Navy vessels. We offer PTO, Benefits, 401k and more!

Pay: $45 (Locals will make $55 with no PD)
Per Diem: $140 days worked (Must be 75 miles away from the job site)

Requirements:
::4 years marine or naval experience as a 1st class/advanced shipfitter::
::Skilled in tack welding, torch cutting/heating, and air arc gouging::
::Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and work packages::
::Experience fitting and assembling structural steel components::
::Familiar with OSHA safety standards, PPE, and fall protection::
::Able to use grinders, needle guns, and other fabrication tools::
::Must be able to work in physically demanding environments::
