SITE MANAGER (installation of material handling systems) - IMMEDIATE OPENING

Location: Wheeling, IL (FedEx Facility)
Pay Rate: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
Employment Type: Temporary with Potential Temp-to-Hire
Duration: Through approximately August 24, 2026
Travel: 100% Nationwide Travel Required After Initial Assignment

ASBECO is seeking an experienced Site Manager for an immediate opening supporting a project at a FedEx facility in Wheeling, Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader who thrives in fast-paced industrial and construction environments and is interested in long-term project opportunities nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:
-Oversee daily site operations and workforce activities
-Serve as the primary liaison between field operations and corporate management
-Prepare and submit daily site reports
-Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and project resources
-Maintain positive customer relationships and address site concerns
-Ensure compliance with all safety requirements and company policies
-Manage employee scheduling and workforce coordination
-Monitor project progress, quality standards, and productivity goals
-Identify and resolve operational challenges in a timely manner

Qualifications:
-Previous site management, field supervision, construction management, industrial installation, automation, logistics, or material handling experience
-Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints
-Experience with reporting, scheduling, and resource management
-Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
-Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
-Associate degree or some college preferred
-PMP certification is a plus

Travel Requirements:
This position begins in Wheeling, IL; however, candidates must be willing to travel nationwide full-time after completion of the initial project assignment. Future assignments may continue through August 2026 and beyond.
