Location: Hurricane, WV
Pay: $25-$40/hour, depending on experience
Per Diem: $750/week offered for qualified travelers
Experience Level: Apprentices and Journeymen welcome
Certification Required: EPA 608 Certification
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is seeking experienced HVAC Installers and Technicians for projects in the Hurricane, WV area. We are hiring both apprentice-level and journeyman-level HVAC professionals with experience in installation, service, troubleshooting, and system startup.
Job Responsibilities
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and airflow issues in HVAC systems
Perform preventive maintenance, including cleaning coils, changing filters, and checking refrigerant levels
Safely recover and handle refrigerants in compliance with EPA standards
Perform emergency repairs and recommend system upgrades when needed
Read blueprints and CAD drawings to plan HVAC system placement
Assemble and mount air handlers, furnaces, condensing units, thermostats, and related equipment
Run refrigerant lines and connect gas, water, and electrical components
Test systems for leaks and complete initial startup to ensure proper operation and efficiency
Follow local building codes, safety standards, and project requirements
Requirements
EPA 608 Certification required
OSHA 10 required
Must be able to pass a Tier 1 background check
Must be able to pass a 10-panel drug screen
Previous HVAC installation or service experience required
Apprentice and journeyman-level candidates encouraged to apply
Ability to read blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical plans
Experience with refrigerant lines, pipefitting, electrical wiring, and system startup
Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
Must be safety-minded and dependable

The hourly rate for this position is $25-$40/hour.
