We are currently hiring Marine Sheet Metal Mechanics for long-term work at a major shipyard in Newport News, VA.

Marine experience is NOT required. Candidates with backgrounds in aviation sheet metal, HVAC, industrial fabrication, or related trades are encouraged to apply.

Job Duties
Fabricate, install, and repair sheet metal components
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Measure, cut, fit, and assemble metal parts
Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely
Work in a fast-paced shipyard environment

Requirements
Experience in sheet metal, HVAC, aviation, or industrial fabrication
Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
Strong attention to detail and safety
Shipyard or marine experience is a plus, but not required

Compensation & Benefits
Pay up to $27.31/hr (based on experience)
$140 daily per diem for qualified travelers
