Project 2: Nuclear Power Plant (Salem, NJ)
- Dates: Training/Preoutage Work: Aug 2-Sept 4 THEN Outage/Site Implementation: Oct 16-Nov 15
Project 3: Hope Creek Nuclear Generating Station (Salem, NJ)
- Dates: Training/Preoutage Work: Aug 2-Sept 4 THEN Outage/Site Implementation: Oct 11-Oct 25
Pay for Electronics Technician:
- Level 1 (Junior Tech/Apprentice): $28-$31/hr + $150 per diem + travel in/out
- Level 2 (Journeyman/Controls Tech): $32-$40/hr + $150 per diem + travel in/out
- Level 3 (Sr. I&C): $42-$45/hr + $150 per diem + travel in/out
Pay for Field Machinist:
- Level 1 (Apprentice): $28-$34/hr + $150 per diem + travel in/out
- Level 2 (Journeyman): $35-$39/hr + $150 per diem + travel in/out
- Level 3 (Senior/Master): $40-$44/hr + $150 per diem + travel in/out
Scope of Work: Nuclear Facilities
* Electronics Technician
- compliance checks, calibration on EDM equipment, electronics repair, troubleshooting equipment, etc.
- Perform component-level troubleshooting and repair on electronic systems, including resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, and integrated circuits
- Conduct PCB diagnostics and repair, including signal tracing, root cause analysis, and soldering/rework of electronic assemblies
- Utilize electronic diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators
- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to support troubleshooting activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve faults in power supplies, control systems, instrumentation, and automated equipment
- Support repair, overhaul, and calibration of welding power supplies and EDM equipment
- Refurbish and maintain electro-mechanical systems such as weld heads, motor-driven assemblies, and tooling
* Field Machinist
- Performing precision machining, repair, maintenance, and refurbishment of nuclear plant components and equipment
- Operating portable and stationary machine tools
- Performing machining, drilling, boring, milling, flange facing, and alignment work
- Interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Conducting dimensional inspections
