Workify Staffing is looking for a Commercial Painter for a Painting at Industrial Site in the Phoenix area!
We're seeking experienced Commercial Painters to join an active industrial project in Phoenix, AZ, where your skills in surface preparation, coatings application, and safety compliance will make a real impact. If you're a dependable tradesperson who takes pride in quality work and is ready to hit the ground running, we want to hear from you.

Pay: Up to $35/hr

Shift/Schedule: Day Shift at 6am or Night Shift at 8pm

Per Diem: No Per Diem

Responsibilities
-Apply paint, coatings, and specialty finishes to industrial structures and surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment in accordance with project specifications.
-Prepare surfaces prior to painting, including scraping, sanding, patching, and priming to ensure proper adhesion and a quality finish.
-Read and interpret blueprints and project drawings to accurately execute coating requirements across various areas of the industrial site.
-Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with site-specific safety regulations.
-Coordinate with crew members and project supervisors to maintain workflow, meet deadlines, and ensure quality control throughout the project.
-Identify and report surface defects, structural concerns, or coating failures to the foreman to prevent rework and maintain project integrity.

Qualifications
-Proven experience as a commercial or industrial painter, with demonstrated knowledge of paint types, application methods, and surface preparation techniques.
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications relevant to painting and coating applications.
-Familiarity with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and OSHA standards for industrial jobsites.
-Experience operating spray equipment, lifts, and other painting tools common to large-scale commercial or industrial projects.
-Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to work effectively alongside other tradespeople and supervisors.
-Ability to work a consistent Day Shift (6am) or Night Shift (8pm) schedule and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
