Traveling Construction Laborer
Job Description
- Prepares construction sites
- Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and perform basic demolition work
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment as directed.
- Loading and unloading material out of trucks
- Reads plans, follows instructions from superintendent
- Pay will be $24-25/hour
- Per diem of $105/day (days worked)
Ability to travel is an absolute must - the candidate will be gone for weeks at a time. They work long hours during the week and can expect to work at least 80 hours, up to 7 days a week. The laborer will be bunked up in a hotel room with another laborer. They will work in the elements - rain or shine, heat or cold. Must be receptive to extreme temperatures. This will be a dirty work environment so a strong construction background is needed.

- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- They have completed projects in 43/50 states. This will be outdoor and the laborers must be able to work in the elements.
