Tradesmen International is hiring an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead a utility-scale renewable energy project in Big Spring, Texas. If you have a strong background managing solar, wind, or substation construction projects and hold an active Texas Journeyman License, we want to hear from you!
Compensation & Schedule
• Up to $60.00/hour (based on experience)
• $100/day Per Diem
• 50–60 hours per week
• Project expected through October
• Immediate opportunity with a nationally recognized contractor
What You'll Do
• Lead and supervise daily electrical construction activities on utility-scale solar, wind, and substation projects.
• Manage field crews and subcontractors while driving production, quality, and safety.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, project specifications, and company safety standards.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Inspectors, and Utility Representatives to keep the project moving efficiently.
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and quality control of electrical systems.
• Maintain daily reports, manpower tracking, and project documentation.
Qualifications
• Previous experience as an Electrical Superintendent on utility-scale solar, wind, or substation projects.
• Active Texas Journeyman Electrician License required.
• Strong knowledge of utility-scale electrical construction and power distribution systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to work overtime and travel as project needs require.
