LOCATION: Saginaw County, MI
TYPE: Contract, 6+ months
SCHEDULE: 5 days/week, 10-hr shifts
PAY: $45-$55/hr + $170/day per diem for travelers
OVERTIME: Paid at 1.5x after 40 hrs/week
PAY CYCLE: Weekly
START: August 10

LEAD Staffing is hiring a QHSE Manager to own the full quality, health, safety, and environmental program on a large-scale solar build in Saginaw County, MI.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Set/enforce site-wide QHSE policy across all contractors, craft labor, union and open-shop personnel
- Ensure OSHA, environmental permit, and project QHSE compliance
- Lead site audits and incident investigations through corrective action
- Manage safety/QA documentation and reporting
- Coordinate with the Union Communications Lead for consistent standards across labor groups
- Senior escalation point for QHSE issues, reporting to project leadership

REQUIREMENTS:

- 7+ years construction QHSE, supervisory/management experience
- OSHA 30 required (OSHA 500/501 a plus); CHST/CSP or equivalent preferred
- Environmental permit compliance knowledge
- Experience running both safety AND quality functions simultaneously
- Solar construction experience strongly preferred
- Union/open-shop mixed-labor site experience a plus
