LOCATION: Saginaw County, MI
TYPE: Contract, 6+ months
SCHEDULE: 5 days/week, 10-hr shifts
PAY: $35-$42/hr + $170/day per diem for travelers
OVERTIME: Paid at 1.5x after 40 hrs/week
PAY CYCLE: Weekly

LEAD Staffing is hiring an HSE Lead to run day-to-day field safety on a large-scale solar build in Saginaw County, MI.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Conduct daily toolbox talks and JHAs
- Monitor/enforce PPE compliance and safe work practices
- Document incidents, near-misses, hazards; escalate to QHSE Manager
- Run safety walks focused on fall protection and electrical hazard controls
- Support new-hire safety orientations

REQUIREMENTS:

- 2+ years construction safety experience, electrical or solar preferred
- OSHA 30 required; OSHA 10 minimum
- Full-time field presence, comfortable outdoors
- Solar construction experience strongly preferred
- Union/open-shop mixed-labor site experience a plus
