LOCATION: Saginaw County, MI
TYPE: Contract, 6+ months
SCHEDULE: 5 days/week, 10-hr shifts
PAY: $39-$46/hr + $170/day per diem for travelers
OVERTIME: Paid at 1.5x after 40 hrs/week
PAY CYCLE: Weekly

LEAD Staffing is hiring a Contracts/Procurement Lead to own contracts and procurement on a large-scale solar build in Saginaw County, MI.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Direct the Quantity Surveyor Lead, Buyers, and Expeditor functions on site
- Manage material and subcontract procurement across the project
- Lead vendor negotiations, monitor contract compliance
- Coordinate procurement timelines with construction management around sequencing
- Flag and resolve material flow risks before they hit schedule

REQUIREMENTS:

- 5+ years construction contracts/procurement, team leadership experience
- Experience overseeing quantity surveying, buying, and expediting functions
- Strong vendor negotiation / contract compliance background
- Solar/EPC procurement experience strongly preferred
- Union/open-shop mixed-labor site experience a plus
