Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Commercial Electricians for an immediate start in Austin, TX!
**Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation (TDLR) Apprentice or Journeyman License Required**
WEEKLY PAY --- OVERTIME --- PER DIEM
PAY: $35-42/hr (based on experience)
PER DIEM: $90/day worked (if outside 60 miles from job site)
SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday-Saturday
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: 6+ months

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Electrician with a minimum of 10 years of industrial/commercial electrical experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience performing electrical terminations and installing insulation in commercial or industrial environments. Candidates must be safety-focused, dependable, and able to interpret electrical drawings.
Responsibilities:
--Install, terminate, and test instrumentation and control wiring for transmitters, control panels, junction boxes, motors, and field devices in commercial and industrial facilities.
--Perform electrical terminations, including control, power, and communication cables, while reading P&IDs, loop drawings, and electrical schematics to ensure accurate installations.
--Install insulation on heat trace systems, instrumentation tubing, and electrical components as required, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations
--Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues using electrical testing equipment.
--Calibrate field instrumentation and verify proper operation.
--Ensure all work is completed in accordance with NEC, project specifications, and company safety standards.
--Maintain accurate documentation of completed work and testing.
--Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other trades to complete projects safely and efficiently.
Requirements:
--Minimum 10 years of Commercial electrical experience in industrial or commercial construction.
--OSHA 10-Hour Construction Certification (Required or be willing to get).
--Strong understanding of electrical systems, instrumentation devices, and industrial controls.
--Proficient with electrical testing equipment including multimeters, megohmmeters, and process calibration equipment.
--Ability to install conduit, cable tray, and instrumentation tubing is preferred.
--Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
--Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
--Must have reliable transportation and be able to pass any required pre-employment screenings.
Physical Requirements:
--Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
--Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and work in confined spaces when required.
--Capable of standing, bending, kneeling, and working in varying weather and industrial conditions.
--Must be able to wear required PPE throughout the workday.
Additional Requirements:
--Must be eligible to work in the United States
--Must have reliable transportation to the job site
--Pre-employment drug screen and background check are required
