LOCATION: Hot Springs, AR
PAY RATE: $23/hr, working over 50 hours a week
$178 daily per diem

We are seeking hardworking and dependable Construction Laborers to support construction, maintenance, and restoration projects within Hot Springs National Park. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in quality craftsmanship, and are committed to preserving historic and natural resources.
As a Construction Laborer, you will assist skilled tradespeople and project managers with a variety of tasks, including general carpentry work, material handling, demolition, construction support, and general labor duties throughout the park.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with construction, renovation, and maintenance projects.
Perform site preparation, excavation, grading, and cleanup activities.
Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials and equipment.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Support carpentry, concrete, masonry, and other trade-related activities.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Follow all OSHA, company, and National Park Service safety standards.
Work in varying weather conditions and terrain.
Protect natural and historic park resources while completing assigned work.

Qualifications

Previous construction experience required.
General carpentry experience preferred.
Demo or concrete experience would be great.
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is a plus.
Ability to pass a background check and any required site access requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in commercial, civil, or general construction.
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
Experience operating small equipment such as skid steers, compactors, or excavators.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
