VIP is in need of a safety manager for a solar project near Farnham, VA starting Monday July 27th. This is a civil project and should last at least a month but could end up being longer. Pay is $50/hr. and $140/day all seven days. Expected work schedule is mon-fri 10 hours a day but is subject to change. Weekends may be required. Because this is a civil project, weather could affect the schedule as well. VIP has additional projects coming up in the area that may require additional safety managers as well. A qualified safety person must meet one of the following criteria:

1. Bachelor�s degree in safety or related technical field with a minimum of 5 years of project experience in a construction safety role as a titled safety professional;

2. 5 years� minimum experience of project in a construction safety role as a titled safety professional and completion of the OSHA 500 Training Course; or

3. CHST designation with a minimum of four years in a construction safety role as a titled safety professional.
