Job Description
- Installed, terminated, tested, and energized electrical systems for large-scale data center construction projects.
- Read and interpreted blueprints, electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, and project specifications to ensure accurate installation.
- Installed conduit systems including EMT, RMC, PVC, and cable tray infrastructure.
- Pulled, routed, and terminated power, control, and communication cables for critical data center equipment.
- Installed and connected switchgear, transformers, panelboards, UPS systems, PDUs, generators, and grounding systems.
- Performed equipment startup support, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Maintained strict compliance with NEC codes, OSHA safety standards, and project-specific safety requirements.
- Collaborated with project managers, foremen, engineers, and other trades to meet construction schedules and quality standards.
- Conducted electrical testing using meters, meggers, and other diagnostic equipment to verify system performance.
- Assisted with inspections, punch-list completion, and turnover documentation for mission-critical facilities.
- Worked in fast-paced environments while maintaining high levels of workmanship and attention to detail.
- Participated in daily safety meetings and adhered to lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and energized work protocols.
$64 an hour (70 hour week). $175 per diem 7 days.
