Location: Greer, SC

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Piping Designer with strong AVEVA E3D (formerly PDMS) experience to support industrial engineering and design projects. The ideal candidate will have recent hands-on experience designing piping systems using E3D and supporting large-scale industrial, manufacturing, process, power, or data center projects.

This role will support a growing piping design team working on complex industrial facility projects, including large-scale chilled water piping systems and other process-related piping applications.

Required Qualifications
Recent, hands-on experience using AVEVA E3D is required.
Candidates must have demonstrated production piping design experience in E3D; candidates without E3D experience will not be considered.
5+ years of piping design experience within an engineering, architecture, or industrial design environment.
Experience supporting industrial, process, manufacturing, chemical, power, data center, or heavy industrial projects.
Ability to interpret P&IDs, specifications, and plant design standards.
Experience developing piping layouts and 3D models within an integrated design environment.
Strong understanding of piping design processes, deliverables, and project execution.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Navisworks or similar model coordination tools.
Experience with CadWorx is a plus.
Associate degree or technical training preferred.
Experience supporting multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design and model piping systems using AVEVA E3D based on P&IDs, specifications, and engineering requirements.
Develop accurate piping layouts while maintaining project standards and design requirements.
Coordinate piping models with engineering disciplines and other design teams.
Review project scope, identify design challenges, and support solutions.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, clients, vendors, and contractors.
Manage assigned deliverables and maintain project schedules.
Support construction activities through field verification, site observations, RFI responses, and submittal reviews.
Provide accurate documentation and maintain project quality standards.
