HSE Site Manager – Semiconductor Construction Project
18+ Month Project | 60-Hour Workweek
LOCATION: BOISE, ID
We are seeking an experienced HSE Site Manager to lead site safety efforts on a major semiconductor construction project in the Mountain West. This is a long-term opportunity expected to last 18 months or longer for a safety professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-expectation construction environment.
Schedule & Compensation
• Planned schedule of 6 days per week / 60 hours per week
• Pay DOE
• Per diem paid 7 days per week
• Must be able to work onsite for the duration of the project
Minimum Qualifications
• 5+ years of construction experience
• 3+ years of HSE/Safety experience
• Must possess at least one of the following credentials:
o Safety-related degree
o OSHA 500
o STSC
o CHST
o SMS
o ASP
o CSP
o Equivalent recognized safety credential
• Semiconductor construction experience is preferred but not required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills and ability to effectively manage safety documentation and reporting
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate should have a work history demonstrating the ability to:
• Manage and implement a contractor site safety program
• Ensure and enforce compliance with company, client, and project-specific HSE requirements
• Provide visible field leadership and maintain a strong safety presence across project operations
• Lead and facilitate daily safety briefings and meetings
• Provide task-specific safety training and coaching to employees and supervision
• Conduct and document site safety audits, inspections, and observations
• Identify hazards, deficiencies, and trends and drive corrective actions to completion
• Work closely with project management, field supervision, craft employees, subcontractors, and client HSE representatives
• Communicate expectations clearly and professionally while maintaining accountability for compliance
• Maintain accurate safety records, reports, training documentation, and other project HSE requirements
We are looking for someone who can lead from the field, build productive relationships with project teams and client representatives, and consistently hold the line on safety expectations while supporting successful project execution.
