Workify Staffing is looking for a Pipe Welder for a Shop Work Project in the Bloomfield, NM area!

This is an exciting opportunity to join a large-scale carbon steel pipe fabrication project where your welding expertise will be put to work on pipe systems ranging up to 20 inches in diameter. If you have 3+ years of pipe welding experience, hold a valid 6G welding certification, and are seeking your next opportunity, we would like to talk to you.

Pay: Up to $40/hr

Per Diem: $150/day worked for highly qualified welders.

Shift/Schedule: Typical schedule is 5 days/week, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)

Project Start: Scheduled to begin in the next couple of weeks.

Responsibilities
-Perform high-quality welding on a large carbon steel pipe fabrication project in a shop environment.
-Fabricate, fit, and weld carbon steel pipe systems, working with 6-inch, 8-inch, and up to 20-inch diameter pipe.
-Utilize grinders and related tools to prepare, bevel, and finish welds to specification.
-Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and fabrication details to ensure proper assembly.
-Inspect completed welds and fabricated components for quality and compliance, making necessary repairs when required.
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all company safety policies and PPE requirements.

Qualifications
-3+ years of pipe welding experience required.
-Valid 6G welding certification required.
-Strong experience welding carbon steel pipe in a fabrication or industrial setting.
-Proficiency with GTAW (TIG), SMAW (Stick), and/or other applicable pipe welding processes is preferred.
-Must provide or be familiar with personal welding tools, welding hood, PPE, and related equipment.
-OSHA 10 certification is a plus but not required.
-Must be able to pass a 7-panel drug screen prior to placement.
-English or Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply.
-Local candidates are preferred; travel assistance or per diem may be considered based on experience and distance.
