Position Overview

Group Steel Erectors is seeking an experienced Project Safety Person to oversee safety operations on an active steel erection project in West Memphis, Arkansas. This role is critical to ensuring compliance, maintaining a strong safety culture, and protecting all personnel on-site.

Requirements

• Proven steel erection safety experience (Required)

• OSHA 500 / 510 NEEDED

• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards

• Ability to lead safety meetings, audits, and on-site training

• Experience working on large-scale construction or industrial projects

Responsibilities

• Enforce and monitor site-specific safety plans

• Conduct daily safety inspections and audits

• Lead toolbox talks and safety meetings

• Ensure OSHA compliance and proper documentation

• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions

• Work closely with field operations and management teams

Compensation & Benefits

• $45/hour

• $800/week per diem
