Job Description

We are seeking a skilled electrician to perform service, maintenance, and troubleshooting on electrical systems in industrial and commercial facilities. This role involves supporting upgrades and retrofits to modernize legacy electrical infrastructure and working on low and medium-voltage systems, including distribution, panels, and switchgear.

Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair issues in aging electrical systems and equipment.
* Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and one-lines.
* Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
* Coordinate with site contacts and internal teams to complete work efficiently.
* Travel to customer sites across the region, including daily and short-term travel.

Essential Skills
* Minimum of 3 years of experience with 4160V medium voltage systems.
* At least 3 years of commercial or industrial experience as a facilities electrician.
* Journeyman license, certification, or card.
* Proficiency in reading electrical drawings and schematics.
* Understanding and application of historical electrical code standards.

Work Environment

The workday begins at 7 am, meeting at our shop in West Allis. Typical working hours are 7 am to 3:30 pm, but most weeks include overtime, totaling 45-50 hours. Work assignments are throughout Southeast Wisconsin and Northern Illinois, with driving distances up to 2.5 hours, usually within one hour. Drive time is compensated.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $93600.00 - $124800.00/yr.
