Traveling Project Site Manager
Conveyor Systems & Distribution Center Installations

About the Role:
We're looking for an experienced field leader to oversee multiple active conveyor system installation projects across the country. You'll drive schedule performance, labor productivity, and safety while keeping client relationships strong. This role travels extensively and requires someone comfortable running several job sites at once and coaching supervisors in real time.

What You'll Do:
Oversee multiple active project sites, coordinating priorities, resources, and execution
Plan and manage conveyor system installations — redesigns, retrofits, and new builds
Lead cross-functional teams: internal staff, contractors, and client stakeholders
Build and maintain schedules, budgets, labor plans, and forecasts
Identify field productivity barriers and recommend crew-sizing and workflow improvements
Evaluate supervisor performance and deliver direct, constructive feedback
Serve as primary client contact; manage change orders and scope
Track KPIs and project financials, flagging risk early
Prepare project documentation and site reports for leadership

What You Bring:
Associate's degree (Project Management, Engineering, Business) or equivalent experience
4+ years managing projects/job sites in industrial, construction, or systems installation
Track record overseeing multiple job sites at once
Strong eye for labor productivity and crew-sizing decisions
Comfort giving direct feedback to supervisors on leadership effectiveness
Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and Word
Solid budgeting, forecasting, and labor planning skills
Willingness to travel nationally for extended periods

Nice to Have:
Conveyor, material handling, or automation project experience
OSHA knowledge; GC/subcontractor experience
PMP or similar certification
Warehouse/distribution center project experience

Physical Requirements:
Walk, stand, climb, crouch, kneel, lift up to 100 lbs. Comfortable at heights up to 40 feet and operating lifts. Must use hand/power tools safely in active construction environments.

PPE Required: Hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed boots.
