Workify Staffing is currently hiring Apprentice and Journeyman Electricians for a large-scale, long-term commercial project in the Greater Albuquerque area.

Compensation

Apprentices - Prevailing Wage Based on Apprentice Classification

• Base Rate: $35.20/hr
• Fringe: $12.56/hr
• Pay percentage determined by current apprentice level

Journeymen - Competitive Prevailing Wage Compensation

• Pay based on license status and project classification
  
  Per Diem: $125/day for eligible workers. Must reside 50+ miles from site.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial electrical systems
• Install conduit, wiring, cable trays, boxes, devices, and electrical equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Assist with project completion while maintaining quality workmanship
• Follow OSHA regulations and all jobsite safety requirements
• Work effectively as part of a professional electrical team
• Apprentices will work under the supervision of licensed Journeyman Electricians while developing trade skills

Requirements

Apprentices

• 2+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience preferred
• Ability to work in a construction environment and perform physical job duties
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety
• Reliable transportation

Journeymen

• Current Journeyman Electrician License (JME)
• Commercial electrical experience
• Ability to read plans and perform electrical installations independently
• Strong leadership and safety mindset
• Reliable transportation
• New Mexico reciprocates with Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Wyoming.

Required Credentials & Screening

• 7-Year Federal Background Check
• Passing Drug Screen (7-panel minimum)
• Valid Real-ID Driver's License
• OSHA 10 Certification
• Valid JME License (Journeyman applicants)
