Millwrights - Material Handling Installation | Nationwide Travel

ASBECO is seeking experienced Millwrights for conveyor and material handling system installation projects throughout the United States. $24-$29/hr.

Purpose
Responsible for the mechanical installation, assembly, adjustment, and detailing of conveyor and material handling systems.

Responsibilities
-Install conveyor and material handling equipment
-Unload, organize, stage, and prepare materials for installation
-Set conveyor legs, beds, sections, and related equipment
-Align, level, bolt, and mechanically assemble conveyor systems
-Install side rails, belly pans, guards, and other conveyor components
-Read and follow installation drawings, layouts, and project instructions
-Assist with conveyor detailing and punch-list activities
-Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, lulls, and other equipment when qualified
-Maintain a clean and safe work area
-Follow direction from Mechanical Leads, Foremen, and Superintendents
-Work effectively as part of a traveling installation crew

Skills
-Strong mechanical aptitude
-Extensive hands-on conveyor installation experience
-Ability to use hand and power tools
-Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and layouts
-Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly and installation
-Ability to work safely around industrial equipment
-Strong teamwork and communication skills
-Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment

Requirements
-Minimum 5+ years of direct conveyor/material handling system installation experience
-Must have hands-on experience installing conveyor systems
-Must be reliable and dependable
-Must be able to follow direction and work effectively as part of a team
-Heavy equipment experience preferred
-Must have reliable transportation to report to assigned projects
-Must be willing and able to travel extensively nationwide
