Quality Control Inspector | Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) New York – Rochester, Syracuse, Buffalo (need to live in New York or state near New York)
Work at fabrication shops conducting surveillance inspection on mechanical, structural and piping equipment. (supporting Bechtel Engineer)

Responsibilities
• Perform quality surveillance (3rd Party Inspection) activities through monitoring, observation, document review, and selective hands-on inspection, that supplier furnished material and equipment conforms quality requirements of the procurement documents.
• Will verify that equipment or materials include defined attributes of recognized codes and standards.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards and client requirements.

Qualifications
• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification.
• Nuclear – NQA-1 is a Plus
