Journeyman Electrician � Data Center Construction
Location: Phoenix, AZ

35-39/hr + Per diem

Position Summary
We are seeking highly skilled Journeyman Electricians to join our electrical construction team on a new-build data center project in Phoenix, AZ.
The Journeyman Electrician will perform installation, termination, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning support for electrical systems serving a large-scale mission-critical data center. This position requires a strong understanding of commercial/industrial electrical construction, power distribution, conduit systems, cable tray, equipment installation, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working from electrical drawings, one-lines, specifications, and equipment layouts while maintaining strict compliance with the NEC, project specifications, safety requirements, and QA/QC standards.

Required Qualifications
� Minimum 6 years of electrical construction experience
� Previous experience on data center, mission-critical, industrial, semiconductor, hospital, or other large-scale commercial projects.
� Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
� Ability to read and interpret:
o Electrical one-line diagrams
o Electrical plans and construction drawings
o Equipment layouts
o Conduit schedules
o Cable schedules
o Panel schedules
o Electrical specifications
� Experience installing and terminating electrical equipment and distribution systems.
� Ability to work under the supervision of a Master Electrician and project electrical leadership.
� Ability to use electrical testing equipment, hand tools, power tools, and specialty installation equipment.
� Strong commitment to job-site safety and quality.
� Ability to work overtime, weekends, and extended shifts as required by the project schedule.
� Ability to work in an active construction environment, including elevated work areas and areas requiring PPE.

Data Center Electrical Experience
Candidates with experience in the following areas are highly preferred:
� Medium- and low-voltage electrical distribution
� Switchgear and switchboards
� Transformers
� Panelboards and distribution panels
� Generators and generator distribution
� Automatic transfer switches (ATS)
� UPS systems and associated distribution
� Power distribution units (PDUs)
� Busway / bus duct systems
� Cable tray installation
� Conduit installation and routing
� Large feeder installations
� Grounding and bonding systems
� Lighting and lighting controls
� Emergency power systems
� Critical power distribution
� Equipment connections and terminations
� Electrical equipment start-up and commissioning support

Key Responsibilities
� Install electrical systems and equipment throughout a new-build data center.
� Install, bend, route, support, and terminate conduit systems.
� Install cable tray, ladder tray, supports, and associated raceway systems.
� Pull, dress, terminate, and identify power and control conductors.
� Install and terminate feeders and branch circuits.
� Install transformers, switchgear, switchboards, panelboards, disconnects, and other electrical distribution equipment.
� Install and connect generators, ATS equipment, UPS systems, PDUs, and other critical power equipment as assigned.
� Perform grounding and bonding installations in accordance with project requirements and NEC.
� Install lighting, emergency lighting, receptacles, and associated systems.
� Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and one-line diagrams.
� Verify electrical installations against approved drawings and project specifications.
� Perform quality-control inspections of completed work.
� Identify and correct installation deficiencies before inspection or commissioning.
� Assist with equipment testing, megger testing, continuity testing, torque verification, and other required electrical testing.
� Support electrical equipment start-up and commissioning activities.
� Maintain accurate installation and testing documentation.
� Coordinate work with other electrical crews and construction trades to maintain project schedule.
� Communicate material, equipment, and installation issues to the Electrical Foreman.
� Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
� Follow all OSHA, company, site-specific, and project safety requirements.
� Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and electrical safety requirements.
� Maintain strict adherence to project QA/QC procedures.

Preferred Certifications & Experience
� OSHA 10 or OSHA 30.
� NFPA 70E training.
� CPR/First Aid certification.
� Experience with electrical commissioning activities.
� Experience with medium-voltage systems.
� Experience with critical power systems.
� Experience working on large-scale data center or mission-critical construction projects.
� Experience working from BIM/VDC coordination drawings.
� Experience with QA/QC documentation and inspection processes.
� Experience mentoring electrical apprentices.
