Seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to support fabrication and industrial construction operations in Falmouth, MI! This hands-on role will ensure materials, welds, fabrication, and installed work meet project drawings, specifications, codes, and QA/QC requirements.

Pay starts around $50/hr, and goes up with experience, plus per diem!

Responsibilities
Perform receiving, material, visual, and dimensional inspections.
Review drawings, specifications, MTRs, weld packages, and QA/QC documentation.
Maintain material traceability, inspection logs, testing records, and quality documentation.
Conduct visual weld inspections and coordinate NDT, testing, repairs, and documentation.
Verify fabrication and field construction against approved drawings and specifications.
Document discrepancies, nonconformances, corrective actions, and punch-list items.
Assist with redlines, as-built drawings, turnover packages, and project closeout records.
Coordinate with field supervision, subcontractors, fabrication teams, engineers, and client representatives.

Requirements
3+ years of QA/QC, fabrication, industrial construction, welding inspection, or related experience.
Direct experience with receiving inspections, material traceability, weld documentation, NDT coordination, drawing review, and turnover documentation.
Ability to read construction and fabrication drawings, specifications, and inspection documentation.
Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, gauges, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
CWI, AWS, ASNT, OSHA, or related certifications are preferred.
