50+ hours per week available

EMT installation & wire pulling

Pay:
* Up to $32/hour depending on experience
* W2 position

Requirements:
* Must have own tools
* Ready to work and reliable transportation preferred


Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial, industrial, and renovation projects. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and electrical codes, including the National Electrical Code (NEC). This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, interpret schematics and blueprints, and utilize your hands-on skills to deliver high-quality electrical solutions. Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial and industrial settings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute electrical installations.
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete wiring tasks on construction sites or renovation projects.
  • Test electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to diagnose issues accurately.
  • Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems to support automation projects.
  • Ensure all work adheres to NEC standards, local codes, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other trades such as frame carpentry or general contractors during construction or renovation projects.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, inspections completed, and issues identified for quality assurance purposes.
  • Assist with schematic reading and troubleshooting complex electrical circuits involving high voltage systems.
  • Support handyman tasks related to electrical repairs or modifications on-site as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician working on construction sites or renovation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems including high voltage (HV) and low voltage wiring.
  • Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams for accurate installations.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment.
  • Experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable.
  • Ability to read technical schematics and interpret complex electrical diagrams confidently.
  • Construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and adherence to protocols.
  • Skills in frame carpentry or handyman work are a plus for supporting miscellaneous tasks on-site.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting electrical issues quickly and efficiently.
