Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Pay: $40–$50/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
Hours: 40+ hours/week
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 3–6 months
Start Date: October 1, 2026
Per Diem: $198/day worked

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Stationary Battery Testing & Maintenance Technicians to perform inspection, testing, maintenance, and service work on critical backup power systems. This position will support systems such as UPS equipment, data center battery arrays, and utility substations to ensure reliable emergency power and proper system performance.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with stationary battery systems and a strong understanding of applicable IEEE standards and testing procedures.

Experience:

IEEE 1106: 5 years (Required)
IEEE 2962: 5 years (Required)
IEEE 1188: 5 years (Required)
IEEE 450: 5 years (Required)
