Job Description

Roadtechs is seeking an experienced Safety Person / Safety Specialist to support construction projects and ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and company policies.

Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of safety experience in construction, industrial, or related environments.
OSHA 500 certification/training required.
Strong knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, NIOSH, and other applicable regulatory guidelines and requirements.
Bilingual in English and Spanish – required.
Public speaking and safety training experience required.
Experience supervising projects, crews, and team activities.
Ability to identify hazards, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Solutions-focused approach to safety issues.
Thorough knowledge of safety-related products, equipment, and materials.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct job-site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety requirements.
Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and employee training.
Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions.
Maintain safety documentation and reports.
Communicate safety requirements to employees, supervisors, and project management.
Promote a strong safety culture throughout the project.
Ensure proper PPE and safe-work procedures are followed.
