VIP has an immediate need for an experienced electrical superintendent. This will be ongoing work but would start in Mt Pleasant Mills, PA. This is a traveling position. There is potential for permanent work. Pay is DOE and does include per diem for all 7 days when on the road.

The general role of the Superintendent - Electrical Services to oversee assigned
projects for the Electrical Group. This position must help provide leadership for
the safe oversight of daily operations on assigned jobs to help ensure optimum
productivity and construction compliance. The Superintendent will supervise the
execution of assigned jobs within project specifications to ensure that projects
are on-time, on-budget, within compliance regulations, and meet or exceed
customer expectations. This is considered a skilled position that requires
construction knowledge and aptitude. Projects may include, but not be limited
to the following industries and facilities: Construction, Manufacturing, Power
Plants, Commercial, Aggregate, Oil and Gas, Factories, Production Plants, Coal,
Solar, Wind Energy, etc.

Qualifications:

A. 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical construction, installation, and
maintenance
B. Previous experience in a leadership role involving large-scale electrical
projects
C. High school diploma or GED equivalent required
D. Possess a Master Electrical License in at least one state preferred
E. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
preferred
F. Knowledge of the use of relevant tools and equipment of the trade
G. Advanced ability to read blueprints, plans and reviews drawings
H. Ability to troubleshoot on-the-job issues effectively and efficiently
I. Strong knowledge of supervisory functions relating to field activities to
include project scheduling, reporting, etc.
J. Strong knowledge of, and commitment to, safety and construction
regulations, to include the NEC
K. Skill in dealing with the public in a manner which will facilitate any
constructive problem solving possible
L. Proficient in organizational skills with high level of attention to detail
M. Skillful in imparting information
N. Demonstrated ability to excel under pressure and meet budget and
deadlines
O. Possess strong computer skills that would include Microsoft Office programs
P. Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) and to represent
Beitzel Corporation in a professional, competent, and courteous manner
Q. Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams to accomplish common
goals
R. Ability to meet deadlines
S. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal
supervision or review
T. Must be able to effectively adapt to ever-changing and ever-emerging customer needs
U. Strong decision-making abilities
