Journeyman Concrete Finishers
Location: Cumby, Texas
Start Date: October 5, 2026
Project Duration: 16 weeks
Positions Available: 5
Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour
Per Diem: $115.00 per day, 7 days per week
Schedule: 6 days per week, 10-hour shifts (6-10s)
Position Overview
We are seeking five experienced Journeyman Concrete Finishers for a 16-week solar substation construction project in Cumby, Texas.
Qualified candidates should have strong experience in concrete construction and finishing, including rebar, formwork, concrete slab placement, finishing, and related carpentry work.
Scope of Work
Responsibilities will include:
� Concrete construction and finishing for a solar substation
� Rebar installation
� Formwork and preparation
� Concrete slab placement and finishing
� General carpentry related to concrete construction
� Other duties associated with the project's concrete scope of work
Requirements
� Journeyman-level concrete finishing experience
� OSHA 10 certification required
� Experience with rebar, forms, concrete placement, and finishing
� Ability to work the required project schedule
� Reliable transportation to the project site
Compensation & Schedule
� $30.00 per hour
� $115.00 per day per diem, paid all 7 days
� 6-10s schedule
� 16-week project
� Start date: October 5, 2026
