NOW HIRING 3G WELDERS, 4G WELDERS & FABRICATORS
Location: Burlington, NC

Pay Rates:
3G Welder: $28/hr
4G Welder: $29/hr
Fabricator: $30/hr

Per Diem: $150/day worked
Hours: 50-60 hours per week
Duration: 6+ months

Scope of Work:
Fabricating and welding structural steel components for data center projects and other large-scale work
Working with I-beams, square stock tubing, plate steel, and structural pipe
Materials can be up to 50-60 feet long and up to 1" thick
Layout, fit-up, fabrication, assembly, and welding of heavy structural components

3G Weld Test (AWS D1.1):
Dual shield process
1" carbon steel plate
1/16" diameter wire
Backing strip required
Welder must bevel the plate, tack it up, and complete the root pass
If fusion is acceptable, the welder will proceed with 3 filler passes and a cap
Weld is bend tested in-house
Candidates who pass can complete orientation and return the following day to start work

4G Weld Test:
Same test and requirements as the 3G test, performed in the 4G position
