MANUAL MACHINIST – RUSTON, LOUISIANA

Nationwide Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to join our team in Ruston, Louisiana.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on machinist who takes pride in precision, quality, and craftsmanship and is comfortable working independently with manual machining equipment.

? POSITION DETAILS

Pay: Competitive, based on experience
Schedule: Full-time
Location: Ruston, Louisiana

? RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up and operate manual machines, including lathes, mills, and grinders
• Machine parts to tight tolerances using blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Measure and inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision tools
• Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
• Consistently meet quality and production expectations

? REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of Manual Machinist experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficient with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and precision measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Strong hands-on mechanical and machining skills
