? MILLWRIGHT / WELDER – LEWISTON, NORTH CAROLINA

Nationwide Skilled Trades is urgently seeking an experienced Millwright / Welder for a long-term, full-time contract position in the Lewiston, NC area.

We are looking for a skilled trades professional with strong welding, piping, fabrication, mechanical maintenance, and equipment troubleshooting experience.

? POSITION DETAILS

Position: Millwright / Welder
Location: Lewiston, NC area
Schedule: Full-time
Duration: Long-term contract
Start: Immediate / ASAP

? RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with the installation of new equipment
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor and other personnel with special fabrication and construction projects
• Follow established preventative maintenance schedules
• Troubleshoot and repair process machinery and hydraulic equipment
• Change electrical breakers and electrical starters
• Operate voltage, amp, and ohm meters
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
• Properly use all assigned safety equipment, including bump caps, safety glasses/goggles, welding protection, and safety harnesses
• Follow all company safety rules and regulations
• Attend regularly scheduled safety meetings and participate on the Safety Committee when requested
• Perform other duties as assigned

? WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 2–5 years of experience with rendering or similar industrial equipment
• Advanced welding, piping, and fabrication skills required
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair abilities
• Experience with industrial machinery and equipment
• Ability to work safely and effectively in an industrial environment
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
