Position: Electrical Helper
Pay Rate: $24.00/hour
Per Diem: $65/day for qualified candidates
Start Time: 6:15 AM

Job Description

PeopleReady Skilled Trades is seeking dependable Electrical Helpers for a commercial construction project. This position is responsible for performing basic, unskilled electrical contractor tasks while assisting Foremen, Superintendents, and experienced electricians on the job site.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade while working in a safety-focused construction environment.

Job Duties
Assist electricians with daily job site activities
Lift and carry materials, tools, and equipment
Dig trenches and assist with excavation work
Perform clean-up and maintain a safe work area
Climb ladders and work at various elevations
Operate basic hand and power tools
Saw, drill, cut, and prepare materials as directed
Load and unload job site materials
Follow all safety policies and procedures
Complete other duties assigned by the Foreman or Superintendent
Requirements
Construction or electrical experience preferred but not required
Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
Ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods
Reliable transportation
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to pass any required pre-employment screenings
Compensation & Schedule
$24.00/hour
$65/day per diem for qualified candidates
