Site Safety Manager – Montrose, AR
We are seeking an experienced Site Safety Manager for a long-term project in Montrose, Arkansas, starting in November 2026. The anticipated project duration is 12–18 months.
Position Details
• Location: Montrose, AR
• Start Date: November 2026
• Pay: $30–$40/hour, depending on experience
• Per Diem: $140/day worked, up to $700/week
• Schedule: Typically, 5 days/week, 10-hour shifts
• Duration: 12–18 months
• OSHA 510: Required
• Site Safety Manager experience: Strongly preferred
Responsibilities
The Site Safety Manager will serve as the on-site authority for all safety-related activities and issues and will be responsible for ensuring safety requirements are effectively implemented and maintained throughout the project.
Key responsibilities include:
• Manage and oversee all site safety activities.
• Support and monitor Contractor and Subcontractor field personnel to ensure compliance with applicable safety requirements.
• Coordinate and oversee Site Safety Officers and ensure adequate safety coverage for all field activities.
• Ensure safety personnel remain dedicated to their primary safety responsibilities.
• Ensure Site Safety Officers are on site whenever work is being performed, including nights and weekends as required.
• Coordinate safety coverage for commissioning and high-voltage activities when applicable.
• Ensure personnel involved in energized electrical work have appropriate knowledge and training regarding DC and AC electrical hazards, including applicable OSHA, NFPA, and NESC requirements.
• Ensure appropriate First Aid/CPR coverage is available on site during working hours.
• Identify potential hazards and take proactive measures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Promote and maintain a strong site-wide safety culture.
Minimum Qualifications
• OSHA 510 certification/training – Required
• Previous Site Safety Manager or Site Safety Supervisor experience – Strongly Preferred
• Direct field safety experience in construction or industrial environments
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 1926 and OSHA 1910
• Ability to manage safety activities across multiple contractors and subcontractors
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Experience with commissioning, electrical, or high-voltage work is a plus
