Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support multiple distribution and logistics facilities throughout the region. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment, conveyor systems, motor controls, and electrical systems to ensure operations run efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
• Perform preventative maintenance on conveyors, motors, electrical equipment, and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair 3-phase electrical systems.
• Diagnose and repair motor controls including starters, relays, contactors, and control circuits.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment (no programming required).
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance repairs.
• Complete mechanical repairs, equipment upgrades, and component replacements.
• Perform welding and fabrication repairs as needed.
• Maintain conveyors and material handling systems.
• Complete general facility maintenance including lighting and minor building repairs.
• Document maintenance activities and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Travel between local facilities using a company-provided vehicle.
Essential Skills
• Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of 3-phase power systems.
• Experience with motor controls and electrical troubleshooting.
• Mechanical maintenance and repair experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled systems.
• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Preferred Skills
• Conveyor maintenance experience.
• Material handling equipment experience.
• Distribution center or logistics facility experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Facility maintenance experience.

Work Environment
Work throughout distribution and logistics facilities in the Pittsburgh, Greensburg, and Morgantown areas. The role involves hands-on maintenance of conveyors, material handling equipment, electrical systems, motor controls, PLC-controlled equipment, and industrial machinery. Preventative maintenance and repairs are performed in active industrial environments with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and minimizing downtime.
