Pay: $45-60/hr + $190 per diem for days worked

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to support electrical installation, startup, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities on a data center project. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial or industrial electrical background, experience with electrical distribution systems, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities
Perform electrical installations, equipment startups, troubleshooting, commissioning, and preventative maintenance in accordance with project drawings, applicable codes, and specifications.
Execute First Time Energization (FTE), electrical switching, Automated Lockout/Tagout (AutoLOTO), and load bank connections and removals.
Support Level 3–5 commissioning activities and electrical system acceptance testing.
Read and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, riser diagrams, schematics, and installation plans.
Lay out and install conduit, cable tray, electrical devices, and related distribution equipment.
Follow approved Methods of Procedure (MOPs), site-specific safety requirements, and company safety protocols.
Maintain accurate service documentation, work records, and commissioning reports.
Diagnose electrical issues, respond to service needs, and recommend corrective actions or system improvements.
Qualifications
Valid New Mexico Journeyman Electrician (JME) license or an accepted reciprocal state license.
Minimum of 7 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.
Successful completion of an electrical apprenticeship program.
Experience with data center electrical systems, transfer schemes, switchgear, controllers, and electrical or pneumatic process controls preferred.
Proficient in reading blueprints, one-line diagrams, riser diagrams, and electrical schematics.
Experience with conduit bending, cable tray layout and installation, device trim-out, and load bank operations.
Familiarity with electrical energization, switching procedures, AutoLOTO, and commissioning activities.
