ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking skilled, safety-driven Boilermakers and Structural Welders for industrial power boiler outages, maintenance, and structural fabrication/repair projects.

Current project duration: 7-10 days

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience working with industrial power boilers, heavy plate fabrication, structural steel framing, headers, ductwork, and pressure vessel components.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform layout, fit-up, alignment, and welding on heavy steel plate, structural members, air heaters, ductwork, and boiler support structures.

Execute structural and plate welds utilizing SMAW (Stick) and FCAW (Flux-Cored) processes to code standards.

Rig, hoist, and position heavy plate and structural steel components safely in tight or elevated industrial environments.

Perform boiler repair tasks, including casing work, burner/duct repairs, and structural component modifications during plant outages.

Work in accordance with strict ASME and AWS code standards and project specifications.

Adhere to strict job-site safety rules, job safety analyses (JSAs), and OSHA guidelines at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Experience: Minimum [3–5+] years of experience in industrial boilermaking, heavy plate fabrication, and structural welding in power generation, waste-to-energy, or heavy industrial facility environments.

Skills:

Proficient in reading blueprints, isometric drawings, and weld symbols.

Strong knowledge of torch cutting, beveling, grinding, and precision layout work.

Experience with rigging gear, overhead cranes, and hoist operations.

Safety & Tools:

Must have standard boilermaker hand tools and fire-retardant PPE.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, work at high elevations, and perform physical labor in varying weather conditions.
