Right PM is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic for a utility-scale solar construction project in Indiana.

We are looking for a dependable, skilled mechanic with experience diagnosing, servicing, maintaining, and repairing heavy construction equipment in the field.

Compensation & Project Details

• Pay Rate: $49.00 per hour

• Per Diem: $500 per week

• Location: Indiana/Illinois

• Start Date: ASAP

• Industry: Utility-Scale Solar Construction

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine issues on heavy construction equipment.

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and routine servicing.

• Troubleshoot equipment failures and complete necessary field repairs.

• Service equipment such as excavators, skid steers, telehandlers, forklifts, loaders, and other construction machinery.

• Identify replacement parts and coordinate repairs to minimize equipment downtime.

• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.

• Follow company and jobsite safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, or Field Service Technician.

• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.

• Experience repairing heavy construction equipment.

• Ability to diagnose and perform repairs independently.

• Ability to work in an active construction environment.

• Reliable transportation and appropriate tools for the position, as required.
