PeopleReady is now hiring experienced Industrial Pipefitters for a major data center construction project in Fremont, California.

Job Type: Temporary / Construction Project
Location: Fremont, California (CA)
Start Date: As soon as Monday 10/26
Pay: $35/Hour
Per Diem: $145 Days worked
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM (60 hour work week)
Shift: Day Shift

Project Details
This project focuses on industrial piping systems and specialized infrastructure supporting a major data center construction project, including:
•Power banks and associated industrial systems.
•Air conditioning (AC) and industrial cooling units.
•Steel and alloy piping assemblies requiring welding preparation and fit-up.
•Industrial warehouse and data center infrastructure.
•Precision pipe alignment, positioning, and preparation for welding.

Job Requirements
•Previous experience in industrial pipefitting is required.
•Experience with industrial piping systems, steel and alloy piping, and mechanical infrastructure.
•Strong knowledge of pipe fit-up, alignment, positioning, and assembly techniques.
•Ability to read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, piping diagrams, and engineering specifications.
•Experience preparing piping components for welding, including measuring, cutting, beveling, and fitting.
•Ability to work closely with welders to ensure proper fit-up and installation quality.
•Proficiency with industrial pipefitting tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
•Strong mathematical and measurement skills with excellent attention to detail.
•Knowledge of industrial construction safety procedures and required personal protective equipment (PPE).
•NCCER Pipefitting certification is a plus.
•Ability to work a 12-hour shift, Monday through Friday.
•Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in an active industrial construction environment.
•Reliable attendance, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively with a team.

Per Diem Eligibility
Travelers residing 65 miles or more from the job site may qualify for a per diem allowance, subject to applicable eligibility requirements.

Travelers will be responsible for lodging/travel cost
