Electrician - Conduit Bending & Installation

Pay: $35.00/hour
Schedule: 40-50 hours per week
Per Diem: Available based on project requirements

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Electricians with strong conduit bending and installation skills to support commercial and industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience measuring, cutting, bending, and installing EMT, rigid conduit, and PVC conduit while ensuring all work meets NEC standards and project specifications.

This position requires individuals who can work independently, read blueprints, and efficiently install conduit systems for power, lighting, and control circuits.

Key Responsibilities
Measure, cut, thread, and bend conduit using hand, hydraulic, and mechanical benders.
Install EMT, Rigid, IMC, and PVC conduit in commercial and industrial environments.
Perform accurate offsets, saddles, kicks, 90s, concentric bends, and parallel conduit runs.
Pull wire and cable through conduit systems using fish tape, tuggers, and other pulling equipment.
Install conduit overhead, underground, in walls, and above ceilings.
Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications.
Mount and secure conduit, electrical panels, disconnects, junction boxes, and supports.
Install cable tray, strut systems, and conduit supports.
Work from lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and elevated work platforms.
Ensure installations comply with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
Perform troubleshooting and repairs on electrical systems as needed.
Coordinate work with supervisors, foremen, and other trades on-site.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all OSHA regulations.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.
Proven conduit bending experience with EMT, rigid, and PVC conduit.
Ability to perform accurate offsets, saddles, kicks, and complex conduit layouts.
Experience pulling wire and terminating electrical equipment.
Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
Knowledge of NEC requirements and electrical construction practices.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Must possess basic hand tools for the trade.
Preferred Qualifications
Journeyman Electrician License (preferred but not required based on project).
Industrial or data center electrical experience.
Experience operating scissor lifts and boom lifts.
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
CPR/First Aid certification.
Physical Requirements
Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and work in confined spaces.
Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
Capable of working outdoors and in varying weather conditions when required.
